Schwabing Clinic provides medical services in inpatient, semi-inpatient and outpatient mode, there is a separately functioning Emergency Care Center. In the multidisciplinary institution of Schwabing, special attention is paid to interaction with the academic clinic of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Rechts der Isar clinic. All treatment procedures are performed – from bone marrow transplantation to radiation therapy. Head – Professor, Doctor of Medicine Clemens Wendtner. He has extensive clinical experience, with special attention to the treatment of patients with diagnosed lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
• Pulmonology and cardiology. Accepts patients with all pathologies of the lungs and cardiovascular system, regardless of severity. The department has its own cardiac catheterization laboratory. Doctors conduct diagnostics using modern equipment, work closely with specialists from Munich University clinics, and if necessary, convene consultations to make a collective decision. The head of the department is Ellen Hoffmann – Doctor of Medicine, Professor with extensive clinical experience.
• Diabetology and endocrinology. Almost 2,000 patients receive treatment within the walls of the department every year, there is an opportunity to receive prescriptions and recommendations on an outpatient basis. The main direction is the treatment and correction of type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus. It has been preserved for 50 years, so doctors have enormous experience, helping patients to adjust their own lifestyle and prolong their active life, avoiding the development of classical complications of the disease.
